MUSEUMS Thursday 4/8 'PLAYING WITH TIME'The Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium invites visitors on a journey through unseen world of time and natural change to experience events that normally happen too slowly or too fast for human perception. Details: (305) 646-4200 or www.miamisci.org. SHIPWRECKS AND RESCUES EXHIBIT The Historical Museum of Southern Florida explores shipwrecks, sea rescues and dramas along the Florida coast. Artifacts, maps, photos and video footage detail Florida's maritime history from the arrival of the Spanish Armada to the creation of the Coast Guard. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m every third Thursday, noon-5 p.m. Sunday through April 30. Saturday 4/17 WILDLIFE WEEKENDThe Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium will celebrate Earth Day with its 11th annual Wildlife Weekend. Interactive wildlife talks, arts and crafts, the Eco-Warrior Challenge and other activities will be arranged. Noon-4 p.m. April 17-18 at the Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium, 3280 South Miami Ave. Adults $10; seniors and students $8; children 3-12 years old $6; children under 3 free. ONGOING MIAMI MUSEUM OF SCIENCEThe first Friday of each month, a night of music, laser-light dynamics, star shows, planetarium shows, workshops and observatory viewing in a fun, educational evening created for the family. 7-10:30 p.m. $10 for adults, $8 for students with ID and senior citizens, $6 for children.
