LEAD POISONING
Miami/Miami-Dade Weed & Seed presents the latest update on childhood lead poisoning for health-care professionals - breakfast and symposium, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency hotel, 400 SE Second Ave., Miami. Program presents latest research on lead-poison prevention and treatment and an overview of essential clinical laboratory testing methods and interpretation of results. Attendees will gain an understanding of the importance of lead exposure as a true pediatric health problem and the importance of screening of primary and secondary exposures in children.
