   The Baptist Health Resource Center at Informed Families offers an open house 5:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 15, 2490 Coral Way. Free event includes nutrition demonstrations, chair massages, health information, and presentations on tai chi-style exercise and dance therapy classes.
BARIATRIC SURGERY LECTURE
   Kendall Regional Medical Center hosts free seminar on the latest developments in Bariatric medicine and surgical weight loss. 6 p.m. in the hospital's third floor auditorium. In English, with a separate Spanish session at 7:30 p.m. Led by Dr. Lourdes Pelaez-Echevarria, the session will focus on the revolutionary surgical weight reduction programs that help people who are overweight by more than 100 pounds shed at least 70% of their body weight and keep it off for good.
