EXHIBIT
   14th Art Miami at Miami Beach Convention Center open to the public Jan. 8-11, 120 galleries from 23 countries showing a cross-section of modern and contemporary works as well as special exhibits, lectures and events. Details: (312) 553-8924.
   "Drawings Witnessing a Newborn Monk," by Spanish artist J.M. Antolin will be on display Jan. 8-Feb. 5 at Miami-Dade College's Frances Wolfson Gallery, 300 NE Second Ave., Building 1. "Visas for Life: The Righteous and Honorable Diplomats" features an untold story of the Holocaust: the dramatic story of diplomats from diverse cultures, countries and backgrounds who by the end of the war had saved hundreds of Jewish and refugee lives at the peril of their careers and, often, their lives. Exhibition is based on original photographs and other archival materials. Through Feb. 15 at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, 1650 Harrison St., Hollywood. $5 adults, $3 students and seniors. PHOTO EXHIBIT
   The Wolfson Galleries at Miami-Dade College presents the opening of "Aperture Past/Future: Aperture at 50", Jan. 8-Feb. 13. The traveling exhibit premiered in Sotheby's New York in January 2003 with 170 images from photographers published in Aperture over the past half-century. The exhibit includes works from photographers including Diane Arbus, Brassai, Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Graciela Iturbide, Dorothea Lange, Annie Leibovitz, Robert Mapplethorpe, Sebasti“o Salgado, Edward Weston and more.
