SNOWFALL AT THE MALL
   Dolphin Mall's Magical Snowfall will take place 7 and 9 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Jan. 4. at Ramblas Outdoor Plaza. Magical wands will be distributed every night to children under 12 who will wave the wands in the air and create the magic that makes it snow. Youngsters can pick up their wands one hour before each show.

HOLIDAY EVENT
   Snow will glisten, snowmen will be built, carols will be sung, dancers will leap through the air, and Santa himself will make a guest appearance by helicopter 11 am to 3 pm. at Miami Dade College's North Campus, 11380 NW 27th Ave., Miami. Children will have an opportunity to walk through the snow in a specially crafted holiday village and view the different ways the many cultures of the world celebrate the holidays. An arts and crafts area will offer children a chance to make their own holiday decorations. Members of the Early Authors Program will help aspiring young authors write and bound their own stories. And, with the help of an elf, Mrs. Clause will entertain with her dramatic readings of Christmas tales. Free. Details: (305) 237-1000.
TEDDY BEAR TEAS
   Children are invited to host their favorite teddy bear friends for an afternoon of holiday cookies and tea sandwiches 11:30 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Saturdays and Sundays during December. Children may also visit the Teddy Bear Tree, adorned with plush teddy bears available for purchase and delivered to tots in need at Miami Children's Hospital. $28 adults, $15 children, excluding tax and gratuity. MIAMI METROZOO
   "Masters of the Night: The True Story of Bats," through March 21. 10 a.m.-4:40 p.m. daily. Included with regular zoo admission: $12 adults, $7 children (3-12). MANATEE
