ROADS CELEBRATION

The Miami Roads Neighborhood Civic Association will host its third annual celebration and upscale yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Sophia Church, Coral Way and 24th Road, Miami. Free. Details: (305) 854-8547.

HANDS ON MIAMI DAY

Volunteer organization Join Hands on Miami will have its annual one-day volunteer blitz and fundraiser. More than 3,000 volunteers will paint, plant trees and clean up neighborhoods. Funds raised will help the organization year-round. Volunteers begin the day at 7:30 a.m. at Bayfront Park for breakfast and project assignments. COEXISTENCE EXHIBIT

Coexistence, an international outdoor art exhibition, will open its North American tour in Miami. The billboard-size, juried poster exhibition will reflect the theme of tolerance and respect for others. Through Dec. 7 at the Miami-Dade College, Wolfson Campus, 300 NE 2nd Ave. Free.
