VOICES AND STORIES

"Miami Voices and Stories" features a panel discussion with four Miami-based authors – Michael Carlebach, James Hall, Joanne Hyppolite and Felix Lizzarage. Each author will read brief passages from his or her work and participate in a moderated discussion on what inspires them about life in South Florida. 6:30-7:15 p.m. at Miami Art Museum, 101 W Flagler St., Miami. The discussion is held in conjunction with "American Tableaux: Many Voices, Many Stories," an exhibition on view through Sept. 7. Admission is free for members, $5 for non-members. GALLERY NIGHT ON OCHO

Casa Juancho restaurant hosts its monthly art exhibit, part of Gallery Nights at Calle Ocho, featuring "Guajiros," the art work of six local artists – Minerva Brizuela, Felix Gonzalez, Matty Marcos, Orlando Naranjo, Carlos Erick Perez and Carlos Rafael. 7 p.m. Casa Juancho restaurant, 2436 SW Eighth St., Miami. BRONZE ON DISPLAY

Manual Carbonell’s "Works on Bronze" – a collection of maquettes, sculptures, bas reliefs, etchings and serigraphs – will be on display 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday on the main floor at Brickell Townhouse, 2451 Brickell Ave., Miami. Exhibit runs through Aug. 31. Details: (305) 858-6776.

WRIGHT BROTHERS EXHIBIT

In honor of the Wright brothers’ first powered flight, an exhibition of aviation-themed posters reproduced from the Wolfsonian’s permanent collection will be on view at the Miami International Airport Terminal Area between Concourses B and C through December. Details: (305) 535-2622.
