HAITIAN HERITAGE EXHIBIT

Throughout May, Alliance FranÁaise will celebrate Haitian Heritage month by hosting art shows, a documentary and lecture in French painting by Sophie Lacroix, a documentary on poet Roussan Camille by Mario de la Tour and a lecture by Odette Roy Fombrun. FILM POSTER EXHIBIT

"Close Up in Black: African American Film Poster" recounts the story of black film history through the graphic art of the American movie poster. The exhibition pays homage to the performers, writers, designers, directors and producers who struggle to make their statement on film. The exhibition of 75 posters runs through July 17.
