HOLIDAY BOOK DRIVE
   WXEL TV/Radio Station, in Palm Beach is holding their Fifth Annual Book Drive through Dec. 31. Hundreds of books will be distributed to at-risk children from birth through eleven years of age. Collections sites are as follows: WXEL, 3401 S. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach.; Palm Beach Equine Clinic, 13125 Southfields Road, Wellington and Hoffman's Chocolates at each of their five locations. YOGA BY THE SEA
   Yoga By the Sea is exactly as it sounds, in which devoted students take their lotus positions amid a backdrop of Miami Beach and the Atlantic Ocean just as the sun is about to go down. Every Monday at 6 p.m. at the Church by the Sea, 501 96th St, Bal Harbour. Details: (305) 947-9117.
PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
   The International Library of Photography presents the International Open Amateur Photography Contest. Open to all photographers in the Miami area, particularly beginners who'd like to take a crack at more than 1,300 prizes. Deadline for submission is Dec. 31. To enter, send one photograph in only one of the following categories: people, travel, pets, children, sports, nature, action, humor, portraiture or other. Photo must be a color or black-and-white, 8 x 10 print. Include your name, address and category on back. HOLIDAY LIGHTS
   Enchanted Place neighbors show their holiday spirit with holiday lights benefiting Care Resource's Children & Families Program. Drive by the beautifully decorated homes from 6 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. nightly and see the stunning light displays through Dec. 31.
