THE CHOCOLATE NUTCRACKER
   The Broward Center for the Performing Arts teams up with Ashanti Cultural Arts to bring a fresh, new twist on the holiday classic The Nutcracker. This adaptation takes place in the home of an African-American family and includes scenes set in an African village. 6 p.m. at the Amaturo Theater, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW Fifth Ave., Fort Lauderdale.
