SHOPPING APPOINTMENT: North Miami-based MyShoppingCenter.com appointed Odie C. Donald to its board of directors. Mr. Donald is president of DIRECTV. MyShoppingCenter.com is an e-business provider offering end-to-end solutions to shopping center owners and tenants, promoters say.

SKY BOX: Skybox.net, a Miami-based logistics solution company for US e-merchants and Latin American consumers, announced a strategic partnership with CDNow, an on-line music site. Skybox.net will assist the music company in the shipping and handling of music products.

BETTER SITE: Miami-based Viajo.com, a Spanish and Portuguese site for business and leisure travel, launched a more user- friendly site, promoters say. New 2.0 software, they say, allows for faster displays and downloads, among other things.

YUPI PHONE: Miami Beach-based Yupi.com, a portal for the Spanish-speaking e-world, announced the launch of Yupi-Teléfono, its newest telecom services channel. Executives say Yupi-Teléono offers users three main low-cost local and international plans. Details: (305) 459-4113.

E-AFFILIATED: Fiera.com, a Miami-based e-commerce site for Latin America, announced the launch of its affiliate program throughout Latin America and US Hispanic markets.
