MOVING SOUTH:
S.Com Inc., a telecommunications and information technology staffing firm in San Francisco, opened a regional office in Miami at 5201 Blue Lagoon Drive. Executives say they will direct major project staffing initiatives in Central and South America and the southeastern US from the Miami base. Details: (305) 629-3120.




SUSHI SITE: Miami-based Japanese restaurant Benihana Inc. launched Sushidoraku.com. The website, which means the "joy of sushi," provides users with details about the food chain and facts & history about sushi, promoters say. The website was launched in conjunction with Benihana's new sushi theme restaurant, Sushi Doraku.


FORBES LIST: Boca Raton-based e-Builder, a provider of Internet-based construction management applications, was chosen by Forbes magazine as one of its 200 favorite business-to-business companies. More than 1,000 companies submitted applications to the publication to make the list, promoters say. Details: (954) 426-5127.


INTEGRATION ALLIANCE:
Executives from e-Builder say they have also formed a strategic alliance with CGN eServices, a systems integration company. CGN will provide integration services to e-Builder. Promoters say the partnership will help e-Builder clients meet deadlines and budgets for building projects.

PATENT CAFE:
In light of a growing interest in intellectual property concerns and the Internet, executives have launched PatentCafe.com. The site is an intellectual property and security portal devoted to digital rights and management issues, promoters say. Via the site users can access information on Internet regulations, among other things.

TWO MORE: Weston-based Semtor, an Internet solutions company, signed SportingArena.com and ProcessMap.com as its newest clients. SportingArena.com is a web-based community for participants, coaches and spectators of sports, Semtor publicists say, while ProcessMap.com is a provider of end-to-end chemical information management and delivery solutions. Miami-based MovilGo.com, which provides Internet access to users of wireless hand-held devices, has formed a strategic partnership with Bloomberg.com's financial news. Now MovilGo users will be able to download financial news from Bloomberg.com 24-hours a day. Details: (305) 448-6111.

A SITE TO SEE: CiudadFutura.com, a Spanish-language entertainment portal owned by Yupi.com, has launched a newly designed home page, promoters say. The portal's new look, say publicists, makes it easier for users to navigate through the site.
