Private Fusion Academy plans its 43rd campus, near Dadeland

Fusion Academy, an accredited, non-traditional private middle and high school that operates in nine states and Washington, DC, will open its first Florida campus in Miami in January.
The school, which will be on the first floor of the Datran Center near Dadeland, takes a one-on-one approach to learning. Students have individual classes with a teacher, and then spend additional time in the “homework café” to reinforce what they’ve learned, Michelle Rose Gilman, the school’s founder, said last week.
