New art ICA museum draws in 25,000 visitors in six weeks

After making its debut in the Design District on Dec. 1, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami has seen upwards of 25,000 visitors during its first six weeks, prompting the museum to extend its inaugural program “The Everywhere Studio” into the first week of March.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the response we’ve had since the grand opening,” said Director Ellen Salpeter. “Just six hours into the grand opening we had over 1,200 visitors and over the next three days following the grand opening we had 3,500 visitors.”…To read the full story click here
