Florida first to certify international litigators, arbitrators

The Florida Supreme Court has cleared the way for Florida to become the first state to offer board certification in the area of international litigation and arbitration.

The certification will be akin to the designation medical doctors receive when they are recognized for having expertise in one particular area, said Gary Davidson, a partner at the Miami law firm Diaz Reus who steered the certification effort through the International Law Section of the Florida Bar for more than eight years…To read the full story click here
